"I am so pleased that Andy (the owner of Rose Design and Build) was recommended to us. It’s always stressful finding tradesmen, we needn’t have worried, we are over the moon with the work that has been carried out and the high standard finish on our house.
The main part of the job was to replace old stairs with new ones and changing the direction of stairs going from a three to four bedroom house. In addition to this, we wanted improvements to existing layout upstairs and some general improvements to existing work.
With the nature of the work and our house we did stay elsewhere while the work was carried out. We completely trusted Andy and his team with our house. We would come and have a look at the end of day and I couldn’t believe how clean the job was left each day and enjoyed seeing the transition behind the scenes.
Communication is key, especially undertaking work of this nature. What stood out for me was how much of Andy’s time he gave and also the office team who would email back and fourth with whatever queries we had. Everyone's time is valuable and for me seeing this (the time given to us), showed how much they cared in helping us achieve our goal.
I’d also like to mention that in our experience all the trade people that were working for Andy were not only tidy and professional but really wanted to just get down to business and were also invested in the job, rather than taking every opportunity to stop for tea and coffee breaks. A big thank you to Mark and Martin who also made such a positive change to our home.
We have more work that we want done in the future. We won’t go anywhere else now and will wait until there is availability with Andy and his team. We are thoroughly impressed. Thank you."
